Traditional outdoor kitchens vs outdoor kitchen cabinets
Traditional masonry island outdoor kitchens offer limited options for storage. An island is constructed using concrete block, and holes are cut out for drawer and cabinet inserts. Because of how these inserts are incorporated into the island, we need 8 inches or more between inserts. That means that even if you have a fifteen foot long island, you don’t get fifteen feet of usable storage. Additionally, most door and drawer inserts are only available in a stainless steel finish.
Outdoor kitchen cabinets, on the other hand, give you the full width and height of the cabinet box. Just like interior cabinets, outdoor kitchen cabinets are sold in 3 inch increments allowing for maximum use of the space. Our stainless steel and aluminum cabinets are available in a wide range of powdercoat colors. Our marine-grade poly cabinets have the color throughout the doors, drawer fronts, and cabinet boxes.

Danver stainless steel cabinets are manufactured just outside Hartford, Connecticut and they are our premier outdoor kitchen cabinet line. The cabinets come standard with features like weather-resistant gaskets and soft close drawers. Danver offers several door styles as seen here.
Danver offers standard cabinets and drawer bases. They also offer grill base cabinets with trim kits to fit your specific make and model of grill. There are also a variety of appliance cabinets, including low cabinets for your ceramic egg cooker. I’ve sold Danver cabinets for years and I’m a huge fan of the product line.

Challenger Outdoor Kitchens are manufactured in Indiana. They’re built from aluminum and finished with a powdercoat finish.
